The Tianjin Peking Opera Troupe has a strong lineup .It is the most important performing artistic troupe's of the Peking Opera in China .The subsidiary units of the Troupe are No.1 troupe and No.2 troupe, both experienced troupes. In the Tianjin Peking Opera Troupe, a lot of outstanding and talented performers and musicians’ skill demonstrate all the roles including the martial arts. In recent years, 7 people won the Mei Lanfang Gold Award - - the highest award for Chinese traditional operas and the plum Blossom Award. There are 16 national first grade and 42 national second grade playwright directors, performers and musicians. The troupe has worked tirelessly in Chinese Peking Opera. The works performed by the troupe frequently are over 100 .26 persons won the national performing award. The troupe has visited other countries for culture exchange many times.
