·Geographical Location:

It is located to the southeast of Tianjin. The Liqizhuang-Xingang railway line running to the Tianjin Port passes across the zone. Traffic leads in all directions; easy and convenient. The planned area of the preliminary phase is 2 sq.km.

·Infrastructure:

The zone has a complete infrastructure including water supply, rain and waste water drainage, power and heat supply, telecommunication and natural gas, and close-circuit TV; roads have been paved and land leveled.

·Industries:

In the Dagang District, there is the nationally renowned Dagang Oil Fields and several major State-owned petrochemical corporations are operating there. The Dagang Economic Development Area is an important industrial base concentrating mainly on the production of petroleum, petrochemicals, marine chemicals and fine chemicals. The numerous large State-owned enterprises are flourishing. Enterprises from over 80 countries and regions such as Korea, Japan, USA, Germany, Taiwan and other countries and regions have established themselves in the zone.
