Approved by the Municipal Government of Tianjin, the Jinnan Economic Development Area operates underway in "one zone in two parts" pattern--construction in two separate geographical areas in Tianjin.

·The part at the Town of Shuangqiaohe

It was approved by the Municipal Government in 1992. Its planned area is 2 sq.km. The zone is very close to railway lines and road transportation is also convenient. The zone has a complete infrastructure service including water supply and drainage, power supply, postal and telecommunication service. So far, more than 130 enterprises have registered in the zone.

·The part at the Town of Shuanggang

It was established in 1997 with a planned area of 6 sq.km. It is 36 km. from Tianjin Port, 8 km. from Tianjin International Airport. The open up area in the first phase of development is 1.5 sq.km. Supply of water, electricity and infrastructure facilities e.g. roads and telecommunication are available. Excellent investment environment has been created for investors at home and abroad here. Many investors has been attracted to come to invest and set up factories in the zone.

Jinnan Economic Development Zone follows "one zone in two parts" pattern, each part has its own features and are complementary to each other to provide domestic and overseas investors with a broader space for development.
