The Tianjin Dongli Economic Development Area was set up on June 19th,1992.

·Geographical Location:

It is located in the center of the Tianjin coastal development belt, the Haihe heavy industry development belt and the high-tech development belt along the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu expressway. To the north, it is 3.5 km. from the Tianjin Port. The zone enjoys the convenience of land, sea and air transportation and has a planned area of 2 sq.km.

·Infrastructure:

Electricity, heat, supply and drainage of water, programmed telecommunications and roads are standing by to serve the needs of industry.

·Industries:

Over 60 enterprises including world renowned multinational companies have settled in the zone and commenced operations in many fields including electronics, chemistry, automobile, food production and others. Tianjin's largest commercial base supplying building material, Home World, is located in the zone.
