Industrial Park was approved by the State Council
as the State-level advanced and new technology
industry development area. By the following internationally
acknowledged development patterns for sci-tech
industrial parks, the Tianjin Hi-tech Industrial
Park is working towards the development of new
and high-tech industries. |

¡¤Industries:
In the Park, 10 key industries and a series of new
products are beginning to take shape in the fields
of electronics and information, integration of optics,
mechanics and electronics, bio-engineering, green
energy and new materials. These industries include
computer software and hardware, communication equipment,
electronic parts and components, household electrical
components, new medicines, "green" batteries,
special cable, printing materials, fine chemicals,
electronic screens etc. Over 4,000 high-tech enterprises
domestic and abroad have settled in the Park, 550
of which are overseas companies and many of them have
invested over US$10 million. More than 6,000 different
kinds of high-tech products are made here.
