Central Hospital is one of three medical centers in Tianjin
regional sanitary plan. It undertakes medical cure, teaching
and research. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, the
standard construction will be accomplished and measures
are taken to establish and develop major subjects.

Scale and Content:
Wangdingdi, Nankai District: (the Organ Transplant Building
in No.1 Central Hospital) The construction area covers a
land of 36,000 square meters with 18,000 square meters as
the first stage. 300 sickbeds will be set up. Xinkai Road,
Hedong District: (the expanding construction of No.1 Central
Hospital east branch) The project takes over a land of 30
mu with the construction area of 25,000 square meters. 400
sickbeds will be set up.
