Starting from the west of Tanggu, Tianjin, the Tangshan-Tianjin Expressway (Tianjin south section) is connected with the national highway No. 103 and the Beijing-Tanggu interpenetrating overpass of the Tangshan-Tianjin Expressway (Tianjin south section), going southwards to end at the Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway. The total length of the expressway is about 65 km and the designed car speed is 120 km/h, with the roadbed 28m wide. Along the expressway are constructed 5 interpenetrating overpasses, 7 separating overpasses, 3 extra-large bridges and 21 medium-and small-sized bridges.

The investment in the project is estimated at 3 billion yuan (RMB), of which 80% will be introduced from abroad and 20% funded by the Chinese side by using the subsidies provided by the Ministry of Communications and the Bureau of Municipal Works as well as the bank loans The net cash flow of the project will amount to 536.69 million yuan in 2023 and the accumulated net cash flow 2.17689 billion yuan by the end of 2023. The period of capital recapture is 15.2 years. Therefore, this project is economically feasible and will have good economic returns.
