Project
Profile:
Tianjin Coastal International
Airport is one of the trunk line airports in China and serves
as the airfreight hub in North China. In order to meet the
requirement of international and domestic aviation development,
improve the obsolete facilities and attract international
and domestic flights, Tianjin will expand the construction
of the airport during the Tenth Five-year Plan period. The
construction of this project will improve the overall service
of Tianjin Coastal International Airport.
Construction Scale and Content:
5100 square meters waiting building will be expanded and
6954 square meters waiting building will be renovated. 4900
square meters administrative building will be built. The
runway will be prolonged to 3600 meters and upgraded from
4D level to 4E level
Social
and Economic Benefit:
The project will make
the airport reach the handling capacity of two international
flights during peak hours and meet the requirement of large
fully-loaded airplanes' taking-off and landing.
