　 Project Profile:
　 In line with the general layout plan on Tianjin Port, Beida Breakwater is on the elevation of -1m and 3000 meters off the shore. Axis of the Breakwater runs parallel with the shoreline of the North Port pond. The Breakwater links to the northern guiding dike (under planning) in south end and reaches the canal entrance of Ji Canal in north end. The project involves the construction of 10km long breakwater and will be executed in stages according to the development and construction of Tianjin Port. The first stage project is the most needed for the development of Beijiang Port area and the construction of five berths in the North Port pond. In the first stage, the breakwater of 5482 m in length with semi-circle structure will be built.
