Project
Profile:
The Nanjiang Coal Dock
project in Tianijin Port was approved by the State and was
put into construction in 1998. In the year of 2000 the coal
dock was reconstructed (including paving, grading, patching
and etc.) to increase its designed access capability from
10 million tons to 20 million tons of coal. The reconstruction
aims to eliminate pollution resulting from loading &
unloading of coal, better the environment and accomplish
the Port adjustment of "the coal moving from the north
to the south and separation of the dark dock and the white
dock". The dock is equipped with two movable loaders,
stockyard, piling machine and horizon transport system of
the belt conveyor. In addition, two C-model double-vehicle
turners are also installed on backside.
Construction Scale and Content:
The construction of Nanjiang Coal Dock includes two 50000-ton
coal berths with the annual handling capacity of 20 million
tons coal. The dock is mainly used for the export of coal
and coke.
Social
and Economic Benefit:
The internal rate of
return is 10.04%. The period of recovery is 15.4 years.
