　 Project Profile:
　 According to Tianjin general planning and developing plan about the New Coastal Area, Tianjin Port will develop itself into a modern international port. The implement of the "coal transport from the north to the south" strategy in Tianjin Port will increase greatly the capability of handling coal and bulk cargos. Meanwhile, the construction of local railways is under the way to serve the collection and distribution in the Port. Measures are taken to improve the available lines, construct the neck-like complex lines and expand the construction of the stations in order to promote the capacity of collecting and distributing in local railways.
　

　 Construction Scale and Content:
　 1. The first stage project of complex lines expanding construction and technologic renovation in the section from Liqizhuang to the East Dagu station: the available lines of 62.2km; 22.5km new line from Jinbanqiao to the East Dagu station; the expanding of the East Dagu station; 23.2km Zhoulu line will be open to the traffic. 2. The second stage project of complex lines expanding construction and technologic renovation in the section from Liqizhuang to the East Dagu station: new station; prolonging 20km line and 90.7 km electric railway. Construction of; prolong main course 20km; electric railway 90.7km.
