Profile:
The project is jointly invested by Sinopec Group and American
Dow Chemical Company. It can solve the shortage on ethylene
and chemical raw materials, thus enhance economic development
in Tianjin, northern China and Central Plains areas. Foreign
capital, technology and management are imported and anti-risk
capacity can be promoted. The products are deemed suitable
import substitutions. Combined with the development of chloride
soda industry, many high-tech and high-value-added petrochemical
products can meet the much-needed market.
