　 Project Profile:
　Cold-rolled sheet and color-coated sheet are main metallurgical products in the country. There is a large market, but the present production cannot make up the shortage. Especially some high-grade motor face plates and home appliance plates are mainly imported from foreign countries. It is essential to conduct this project in order to meet the need of million-ton products in Tianjin. Hongkong Pingtian Co plans to import the advanced equipments to produce much-needed sheets. In the first stage, cold-rolled sheets are put into production. In the second stage, further processing will be carried on to produce zinc-plating color-coated sheets.


　 Construction Scale and Content:
　 The first stage: the production line of acid etch, cold rolling and annealing. The annual yield of cold rolled sheets will reach 420,000 tons. The second stage: the production line of zinc plating and color coating


　 Social and Economic Benefit:
　The first stage is planned to complete in 2003. The annual sales income will be 1.8 billion yuan with the profit of 0.4 billion yuan.
