Market Prediction

Water treatment agents are important to the treatment of waste water and water used in industries. Organic phosphor rust-and-scale-resisting agents are widely used in the treatment of circulating water, oil field filling water, air conditioning eater and desalinated water. The domestic demand at present is 8,000 tons per year and it is predicted that it will come up to 15,000 tons per year in five years. Polymer scale-resisting dispersing agents are used in chemical industry, fertilizer, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry, power plant, oil fields, papermaking, refrigeration, central air-condition and etc. For saving of water and environmental protection. The domestic annual demand for them at present is about 25,000 tons. It is predicted that it will come up to 40,000tons per year in five years. There is a big shortage of them. Concentrated emulsified flocculant is mainly used in the treatment of industrial waste water and city sewage. The present domestic demand for it is over 10,000 tons. The market is growing.

The investment of the project is 65 million yuan. 15,000 tons of water treatment agents will be made each year with 54.2% of investment profit rate and 2.1 years of investment payoff period.

Briefing of the Company

The Tianjin Chemical Industry Research Institute began to carry out research and utilization of water treatment technology and agents in early 1979s. Over 50 kinds of products such as scale-resisting dispersing agents, rust-resisting agents, bactericide, high polymer flocculant have been made one after another, replacing a great number of imported agents and filling the gaps in the domestic market. The TS series of industrial water treatment technology and treatment agent system have been established by ourselves and the related technology has been developed as well. These water treatment technology and agents were awarded 34 prizes at national or provincial levels and came up to the advanced world standards. The Research and Utilization of TS Series of Water Treatment Agents was awarded the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress. Eleven patents have been obtained in China or abroad, and two of them were granted by French Patent Office. These water treatment chemicals are of intellectual property right with our own decision-making power. The Institute has industrialized experimental installations producing 3,000 tons of water treatment agents a year. The technology has been applied in over 500 enterprises. Some of the products are exported. It employs over 200 technicians and specialists including those who enjoy high reputation for scholastic attainments.
