¡¡ Project Profile:
¡¡Gangbei forest ecologic park lies in the northwest of Wuqing
District, occupying 11448.6 mu of land. The park was built
up on Qinglongwanhe alluvial sand dune of the North Canal
with rolling terrain. The groundwater stays at 2-3m bellow
and upper layer of water is fresh water. To date, 8000 mu
of land have been afforested with high trees and dense woods.
A variety of trees and wild animals are very rare in the
plain region. In order to carry out protection and development
of this ecology environment, an ecologic tourism park will
be set up.

Scale and Content:
¡T The total building area of park is 11480 mu. According
to the national geography, the park is divided into three
sections: activities section, still life section and sightseeing
section. Fourteen scenery areas will be built up including
holiday villages of 8000 square meters, amusement garden
and house riding ground of 300 mu, hill and water scenic
spot of 380 mu, woods sightseeing area of 110 mu, flower
and plant sightseeing area of 200 mu, scientific garden
of forest flora of 273 mu, 2000 mu orchard with famous brand
and special fruits, ginkgo garden of 100 mu, wild animal
breeding farm of 100 mu, hunting recreation region of 100
mu , maple leaves sightseeing area of 300 mu and so on.
¡¡ Social and Economic Benefit:
¡¡The construction of the Forest Park will improve completely
the large area of sandy land in Gangbei of Wuqing County.
The afforestation will play an important role in the climate
regulation, air purification, wind proof, sand fixation
and farmland protection, which will help better the ecologic
environment in Tianjin. Moreover, the Park provides citizens
with a tourist attraction.
