¡¡ Tianjin flood control information system is the important
facility to improve the policy-making and management of
flood control and disaster reduction. It includes two parts:
information collection process system and information transmission
net system of city flood control.

Scale and Content:
¡TMain construction content: Automatic collection system
of hydrological information; 19 hydrologic stations, remote
survey of rainfall and water level; Preliminary groundwork
of data system and information inquiry display system; 15
digital mobile communication system stations; 11 microwave
system stations, net and audio meeting system of center
bureau, Yuqiao reservoir branch.

¡¡It has significant meaning to improve Tianjin flood control
and disaster reduction. The implement of this system can
take the initiative to control flood, deal with an emergency,
and provide disaster relief. It can improve policy's level
and accuracy, reduce the loss of the disaster. It also create
a better conditions for the water planning in Tianjin and
cultivation of scientific research personnel. In the long
