¡¡ Located in the entrance of the lower reaches of the Daqing
River, Dagang District has low-lying and smooth land. The
average height of the ground is 1.5-2.0. In the past, it
had always suffered a lot from flood and water logging.
But in recent years, Dagang district, a new coastal industrial
city in Tianjin, has made great progress in industry development
and city construction. With the development of the district,
the construction of college-area in the north of the district
speeds up and the Development Area of the district expands,
the standard of flood drainage needs improved. The infrastructure
of flood control and drainage in the district should be
improved
¡¡ Construction
Scale and Content:
¡TThe around-city drainage system will be formed in the surroundings
of Dagang district by means of using and reconstructing
original drainage courses-Shimi river, Changqing river,
Dongpai river, and the newly-built Beipai river. The length
of river course is 16.43 km, which is planned according
to the flood drainage standard of once twenty years. The
main construction includes 1 pump station, 1 damper gate
and 2 highway bridges.
¡¡ Social and Economic Benefit:
¡¡The river harness project will control the flood of once
twenty years, and also provide the water circulation to
the mountain-out-of-lake project, which is under the construction
now. With the general planning of city construction of the
district, the around-city drainage project will relieve
the danger of the flood. Making the city green and beautiful
and creating condition for the development of the economy
and protect of the ecological environment.
