Among the top enterprises
determined by the Fortune 500, 64 of them have invested in
Tianjin with a contractual investment of around US$ 4 billion.
28 of the top 100 have made contracts for investment of US$
2 billion. 22 of the top 50 have invested in Tianjin. There
are 33 American companies in the top 100 and 10 of them have
invested here; 23 Japanese companies are among the top 100
and 11 of them have invested in Tianjin. The excellent investment
environment has brought considerable profits to investors
and most of the overseas-funded enterprises have made considerable
economic achievements. 70% of 64 Fortune 500 companies are
profitable at present . The gains made by overseas investors
in Tianjin have further strengthened their confidence, and
their choice to increase the volume and scope of investment
