From Jan. to October
of 2002, 678 Foreign Direct Investment Agreements had signed
in Tianjin and the Total value was USD$5.47 billion increased
by 37.5 per cent, The foreign investment value beyond contracts
was USD$4.962 billion increased 32.6per cent. The actual
usage of FIA was about UD$3.32 billion. By the end of September,
the city totally had signed 14911 agreements of foreign
direct investment with the value of US$4.0938 billion.
