From Jan. to September
of 2002, 626 Foreign Direct Investment Agreements had signed
in Tianjin and the Total value was USD$4.689 billion increased
by 35.5 per cent, The foreign investment value beyond contracts
was USD$4.259 billion increased 31.9per cent. The actual
usage of FIA was about UD$2.91 billion. By the end of September,
the city totally had signed 14859 agreements of foreign
direct investment with the value of US$4.0235 billion.
