From Jan. to July of
2002, 448 Foreign Direct Investment Agreements had signed
in Tianjin and the Total value was USD$3.367 billion increased
by 12.4 per cent, The foreign investment value beyond contracts
was USD$3.069 billion increased 10.1per cent. The actual
usage of FIA was about UD$2.088 billion. By the end of July,
the city totally had signed 14681 agreements of foreign
direct investment with the value of US$3.9045 billion.
