From Jan. to June of
2002, 349 Foreign Direct Investment Agreements had signed
in Tianjin and the Total value was USD$2.842 billion increased
by 5.2 per cent, The foreign investment value beyond contracts
was USD$2.62 billion increased 4.3 per cent. The actual
usage of FIA was about UD$1.765 billion. By the end of June,
the city totally had signed14582 agreements of foreign direct
investment with the value of US$38.597 billion.
