From Jan. to March. of
2002, 163 Foreign Direct Investment Agreements had signed
in Tianjin and the Total value was USD$1.25 billion increased
by 6.4 per cent, The foreign investment value beyond contracts
was USD$1.168 billion increased 12.1 per cent. The actual
usage of FIA was about UD$0.484 billion. By the end of March.,
the city totally had signed14396 agreements of foreign direct
investment with the value of US$ 37.144 billion.
