From Jan. to Feb. of
2002, 88 Foreign Direct Investment Agreements had signed
in Tianjin and the Total value was USD$0.569billion increased
by 6.9 per cent, The foreign investment value beyond contracts
was USD$0.52 billion increased 10.8per cent. The actual
usage of FIA was about UD$0.234 billion. By the end of Feb.,
the city totally had signed14321 agreements of foreign direct
investment with the value of US$ 36.496 billion.
