From Jan. to Jan. of
2002, 54 Foreign Direct Investment Agreements had signed
in Tianjin and the Total value was USD$0.281billion increased
by 3.4 per cent, The foreign investment value beyond contracts
was USD$0.27 billion increased 8.6 per cent. The actual
usage of FIA was about UD$0.07 billion. By the end of Jan.,
the city totally had signed14287 agreements of foreign direct
investment with the value of US$ 36.246 billion.
